The Longham Lakes

The Water Company reservoirs at Longham provide a wonderful local amenity and the opportunity for residents to enjoy a very interesting walk along the footpaths around the lakes. We are told that 130+ species of birds have been identified at the site.

There is car parking at the Visitors Centre off Ringwood Road:
From Longham Church roundabout take Ringwood Road towards Bear Cross and continue for 400 yards as far as the entrance on the right (just before the new small housing estate on the left.) Drive into the Car Park. 2 car parking spaces are allowed for WPRA residents only on Thursday between 8am and 4pm. WPRA visitors should report to the Warden on arrival and show some form of identification containing address and post code. The entrance to the site is via the archway at the entrance to the visitors centre.
